By plane
Rostock Laage airport is located to the south of Rostock. It offers connections to and from Cologne, Stuttgart, Munich, Zurich (Switzerland) and Linz (Austria).
From the airport, continue by taxi or hire a car from Hertz, Europcar, Avis or Sixt. Information on car hire is available on Tel: 01805 00773 or online at rostock-airport.de
By rail and bus
Take the railway – Deutsche Bahn offers service from Hamburg/Rostock to Ribnitz-Damgarten West. There is a bus stop in front of the railway station; the bus line 210 runs service via Ostseebad Dierhagen and Ostseebad Wustrow to Ostseebad Ahrenshoop.

Some long-distance coach companies offer a comfortable and affordable trip to Ostseebad Ahrenshoop and the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula.

By car
From Berlin
Take motorway A19 towards Rostock, then exit the motorway at Ribnitz-Damgarten towards the B105 towards Stralsund; turn left shortly before Ribnitz-Damgarten (Altheide) onto the L21 to Klockenhagen – from there, continue towards Fischland-Darß-Zingst until reaching Ahrenshoop
From Hamburg/Rostock:
Take motorway A20 until Kreuz Rostock, then exit onto motorway A19 towards Rostock, turn off at the Ribnitz-Damgarten exit towards the B105 towards Stralsund, turn left shortly before Ribnitz-Damgarten (Altheide) onto the L21 to Klockenhagen – from there continue towards Fischland-Darß-Zingst until Ahrenshoop

In the harbour of Althagen, you will find a berth for your sailing or motor yacht. The harbour is nestled in the Mecklenburg & West Pomeranian Boddenlandschaft, in the Saaler Bodden.
